Flat Stanley visits NYC
Max Timlock sent Flat Stanley to visit us in NYC. He and Xavi immediately bonded, Stanley got dressed up in a Yankees outfit and went off with Xavi to catch the subway, see the sites, have a hot dog as well as visit plenty of playgrounds. Stanley is off to the post office tomorrow to make his way back to Melbourne "par avion".
Stanley is trying to find out if the Bombers beat Collingwood on Anzac Day

Look who's 22 months!
Growing up and almost 2. Walking, talking (can almost count to 10; asking and answering questions), sleeps 10-11 hours at night and a 2 hr daytime nap, because he's a busy boy climbing, scootering; gym, swimming and music lessons. 2 Weetbix, toast and a cup of tea (seriously) for breakfast, and 1-2 croissants at the coffee shop then lunch and a smoothie but a bit fussy eater at dinner, gone off meat. loves Thomas the Tank Engine, Peppa Pig and any Caterpillar machine which he calls "Digger".

Another Easter in NYC
It has been a long cold winter that keeps dragging on, and the weather on Easter Sunday was not much of an exception. Even though the daffodils are out and you get the occasionally sunny break as at the Park on Saturday afternoon it is still basically cold with winter coats, even though it is Opening Day of the baseball season today. We had a pretty quiet Easter. Xavi took part in the Easter egg hunt in the garden - got more involved than last year.
