Tonight: Game 1 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium

The Yankees won their 40th American League pennant this season so are in the World Series against Philadelphia, and favorites to win their 27th title. The first game is at Yankee Stadium tonight. Steve, Blake [the boyfriend of Kate's friend Emma] and I went to Yankee Stadium to see the Yankees play the Baltimore Orioles during the summer. These previously unpublished photos are from then. Our tix were $75 each. Same seats tonight (if you could buy them) are $210. They sold out within minutes of going on sale last week.
